West and his Girls

I have to put this picture in. Keeping it fun thanks to Dad!!

Brianna turns 13!!!!

Every year for Brianna's Birthday we are always out of town for Thanksgiving. This year her Birthday fell on Turkey Day and so she wanted to just stay home. We told her she could have a friend party the week following Thanksgiving. West and I decided it would be cool to throw her a surprise party. And West came up with the perfect location...the funeral home! Since I didn't know what I would do with 12 girls in our living room we thought it would be great. Plus isn't it every parents wish to freak their kids out at funeral homes. So on Saturday all went as planned we invited 11 giggling girls and with West and I the girls and our friends we had 27 people there. West was in charge of getting Brianna there! We were all huddled down in between benches waiting for her to come in, but she wouldn't!! She was positive her dad was playing a joke on her and was trying to scare her(I can't imagine why she would think this!) He practically had to drag her through the door!! But is all worked out well. We watched Hairspray, (her favorite movie right now) on a big projector screen and danced had pizza, chips and cake. It was a pretty cool night. Thanks to our great friends who helped us transport everyone. Thanks to everyone who helped us out and also those who drove so far just to hang out.

Sierra's 1st Grade Program

Sierra had her 1st Grade Program in the beginning of November. It was held at Brianna's middle school because Sierra's elementary did not have a stage to hold all the classes. There was about 8 or 9 first grade
classes from Sierra's school. The day before the program they had a walking field trip. They walk to the middle school practiced their songs and then walked back. It was almost 4 miles round trip. Sierrra was super proud of herself. I went along and pushed Ella in the stroller to make sure she made it there and back. It was pretty amazing watching almost 150 1st Graders make their way through the neighborhood with just a handful of adults. Sierra did a great job on all of her songs. She kept her eyebrows down in deep concentration watching her song leader. We were sitting on the front row and were trying to get her attention and have her smile but she remained focused!

Glow in the Dark Teeth

Ella loved these glow in the dark vampire teeth. She would take them out put them in and smile. So so funny!!

Pumpkin Carving

As you can see they are all adorable, and then there is West. He always makes sure he brings the blood and gore to our Halloween activities. And as you can see, is so proud of it every time. Luv ya babe!!

Halloween Costumes

Can't start the blog without Halloween Pictures. Sierra was Jesse from Toy Story, Kylee was the American Girl Indian Kaya, Brianna was Penny from the movie Hairspray, and Ella a PUMPKIN. Kylee and Sierra wore originals made by mom, and Brianna wore her Grandma Spencer's high school formals.
